Virtual campus with seminars and courses on labor law, payroll and procedures before Ecuador's Social Security Institute (IESS) and Ministry of Labor. We evolved the platform into a multi-tenant architecture with course management, enrollments, certificates, payments and automated email notifications.
The challenge
Alvaluz offers seminars and courses on labor law, payroll and procedures before Ecuador's Social Security Institute (IESS) and Ministry of Labor. Academic records and payments were managed manually, and the platform needed to grow to serve several clients.
What we did
- We evolved the e-learning platform into a multi-tenant architecture.
- We designed the database and migrations for that model.
- We implemented course, enrollment, certificate and instructor management.
- We set up access control and authorization flows by user role.
- We integrated automated email notifications and payment management.
- We handled and resolved production incidents.
