Official app of Ecuador's National Secretariat for Risk Management (SNGR) for assessing needs and damage after natural disasters and emergencies. It lets teams collect field information quickly and in a standardized way, on Android and iOS.
The challenge
Ecuador's National Secretariat for Risk Management (SNGR) needed to collect information quickly and in a standardized way after natural disasters and emergencies, to assess the needs and damage affecting the population.
What we did
- We built the Android and iOS app with Quasar (Vue.js) and Capacitor, using a hexagonal architecture.
- We built the backend in Symfony with an MVC architecture and a MySQL database.
- We included assessment forms for households and communities, drafts, submission history and a QR scanner for humanitarian aid kits.
- We used SQLite for local storage on the device.
- We published the app on Google Play and the App Store.
